Midlands Wellness Limited (t/a Treehouse Sauna Naas) Terms and Conditions
The Terms and Conditions have been prepared to ensure your safety and comfort, and the safety and comfort of others, when using our sauna/plunge pool/hot tub, we ask that you are respectful of other users, the staff and management of Treehouse Sauna Naas (hereafter “TS” which term shall be deemed to include its directors, employees, servants and/or agents).
TS reserves the right to refuse entry to any individual(s) who is or appears intoxicated and/or if there are concerns to TS that any individual(s) may pose health and/or safety risks to themselves or others. Refunds will not be made to anyone refused entry.
If you are making a booking on behalf of a group, it is your responsibility to make all members of the group aware of these Terms and Conditions and that they are required to comply with them for their own safety.
General Conditions:
You must be 18 years or over to use our facility.
You should arrive 5 minutes prior to your reservation.
Pets are not allowed inside our facility at any time.
Crockery/glasses or sharp objects must not be brought inside the facility.
Swimming in the river or other open water is not permitted.
Smoking (including vaping) and consumption of alcohol are strictly prohibited.
Drink plenty of water before, during and after your session to stay hydrated.
You must pay attention at all times to signs relating to health and safety. If you do not understand a notice or sign, please ask one of our managers or employees.
You must shower before and after using the facilities, and between each use of the sauna, plunge pool, and hot tub.
Wearing prescription glasses in the sauna is not recommended, due to possible heat damage to frames and lens coating.
Wearing makeup, lotions or creams is not advised when using our facility.
Nudity is not allowed in TS. Swimwear must be worn at all times during your session.
You may take photographs and video recordings for your own personal use but you are not permitted to take photographs or videos of any guests without their prior express permission and consent. You must not take photographs or video recordings in a changing area and/or toilet.
For your safety and to protect your device, please do not use mobile phones in the sauna/plunge pool/hot tub, as high/low heat and humidity can cause device malfunction, personal injury, or pose a fire hazard.
To prevent burns, remove all jewellery before entering the sauna.
Swimwear should not have any slimming panels or metal components that could heat up and cause skin burns.
The outside paving may be wet at times, and you are asked to exercise caution to avoid slips or falls. Appropriate footwear should be used.
Leave the sauna/plunge pool/ hot tub immediately if you feel unwell, dizzy, or lightheaded.
Move slowly between facilities and avoid standing up too quickly to reduce the risk of dizziness or light-headedness.
Rest for at least 15 minutes after your session to allow your body to readjust before resuming normal activities.
If you suffer an accident or injury while using the sauna, plunge pool or hot tub, you must report it immediately to one of our managers or employees.
Individual customers are responsible for their own medical and/or personal injury coverage.
The individual saunas are not supervised inside by TS and/or its employees.
Changing rooms may be used to store personal belongings during your session, but this is entirely at your own risk. TS does not accept liability for lost, missing, or stolen items.
Closed-circuit television (CCTV) is in operation on our premises for the purposes of ensuring the safety and security of our staff, visitors, and property. CCTV footage is recorded and monitored in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018. Recordings are retained for a limited period unless required for the investigation of an incident or requested by An Garda Síochána or other authorised authorities. By entering our premises, you acknowledge and accept that CCTV recording is in operation.
For your personal safety and comfort:
Consult your physician if you are in doubt of your ability to use a sauna/plunge pool/hot tub.
Discontinue the use of the sauna if you feel light-headed, dizzy, or heat exhausted.
The use of a plunge pool may cause rapid hyperventilation, involuntary gasping, and dangerous spikes in heart rate and blood pressure. Sudden physiological stress increases the risk of heart attacks, coronary spasms, and drowning.
The use of a sauna may result in severe dehydration, dangerous blood pressure drops causing fainting, and heatstroke.
You should not use the sauna/plunge pool/ hot tub if you:
a. Are pregnant or think you may be pregnant. Exposure to extreme can pose risks during pregnancy. If you are unsure, consult your healthcare provider before use.
b. Have a heart condition, circulatory disorder, high or low blood pressure, diabetes, kidney disease, or any medical condition that affects your body's ability to regulate temperature or perspire.
c. Have an open wound or any infectious skin diseases/sores/wounds.
d. Have consumed alcohol prior to the session.
e. Have recently exercised. Allow your body temperature and heart rate to return to normal before using the sauna, plunge pool, or hot tub.
Sauna/Plunge Pool/ Hot Tub Etiquette:
Remove contact lenses and all make up.
Avoid applying lotions or creams before using any of our facilities.
Enter and exit all facilities carefully, moving slowly and allowing space for others.
Keep access points clear to allow safe movement.
Do not hang towels or clothing inside the sauna, as this poses a fire risk.
You must sit on a towel while inside the sauna to reduce direct contact with the seating area.
Protect hair from heat damage by using a towel or sauna hat.
Use the ladle provided to carefully pour water on the hot rocks. Only use the designated sauna water.
Be considerate of other sauna users and check before adding water to the hot rocks, as this increases steam and heat.
Never touch the stove or open the stove door. Only trained staff may operate the stove.
Limit your time inside the sauna to a maximum of 15 minutes. Leave immediately if you feel unwell, dizzy, or lightheaded.
After your sauna session, cool down gradually in fresh air or cold water.
Lost, Missing or Stolen Property:
Any items left behind by you will be collected by the TS team at the end of each day.
If you believe you have left an item behind, please email us with a description of the item and the date of your visit. If we have your item, you are encouraged to collect it within the timeframe mentioned below.
TS will keep lost property for the following duration:
a) Swimwear & towels: Will be held for 10 days
b) Water bottles: Will be held for 10 days.
c) Items of value: Items of perceived value, such as jewellery, watches, keys or electronic devices, will be kept for up to 10 days.
d)TS will make every effort to contact you if identifiable information is available on the item.
e) Other Items (footwear, jackets, jumpers etc):
f) All other items will be kept for 10 days. After this time, they will be donated to a local charity.
Cancellations & Rescheduling Policy:
To cancel or reschedule your booking, use the option provided in your booking confirmation email. Please note that if your booking includes multiple seats, each seat must be cancelled or rescheduled separately.
Alternatively, if you need assistance, you can email us at info@treehousesauna.com with your booking details and "Cancellation" / “Reschedule” in the subject line.
Cancellations or rescheduling are permitted with at least 8 hours' notice for a full refund or credit.
Less than 8 hours' notice / No Shows: No refund or credit.
If we must cancel your session due to unforeseen circumstances, you will be notified by email and offered a full refund or credit. We reserve the right to make scheduling changes as necessary. We use Square for secure online payments and in-person transactions. Your payment details are encrypted and not shared with us beyond the transaction amount and reference details.
Liability & Waiver:
By booking with TS you agree:
That you have read, understood, and will comply with all TS Terms and Conditions. The Terms and Conditions are legally binding and constitute the contract and entire understanding between TS and you the customer and supersede and replace all prior agreements and understandings, oral or written, if any, between TS and you the customer.
If any provision of this Agreement is held to be invalid or unenforceable, that provision shall, to the extent of such invalidity or unenforceability, be deemed deleted and the remainder of this Agreement shall continue in full force and effect.
The Terms and Conditions govern your access to the sauna/plunge pool/hot tub and/or any of the services offered. If you do not agree with the Terms and Conditions do not access the sauna/plunge pool/hot tub or use the services provided. TS reserves the right to revoke access if rules are violated.
You, the customer, are voluntarily engaging, with informed consent, in using the services provided by TS, of the inherent risks of heat exhaustion, intense cold, dehydration, burns, cardiovascular stress, allergic reactions to essential oils, slip and fall on wet surfaces and dizziness, severe dehydration, dangerous blood pressure drops causing fainting, and heatstroke.
You have no health conditions preventing safe sauna/plunge pool/hot tub use.
You assume full responsibility for your use of the sauna/plunge pool/hot tub and you hereby release TS from all claims or liabilities for personal injury or property damage whatsoever sustained during your use of the sauna/plunge pool/hot tub or thereafter.
That on-site TS staff are not medically qualified and do not and will not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment relating to the use of the facilities.
That damage caused to the sauna/plunge pool/hot tub or facilities due to negligence or misuse of a customer must be paid for in full.
Jurisdiction:
These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of Ireland.
Marketing:
We may send promotional emails to customers who have opted in to receive marketing communications. You may withdraw your consent at any time by contacting us at office@treehousesauna.com.
